Snow-covered Mount Taranaki under a clear blue sky

OUR APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY

BUILT FOR THE WILD.
PACKED WITH INTENTION.

Premium New Zealand-made Kawakawa balm, with a considered approach to packaging and delivery.

LESS EXCESS. MORE INTENTION.

We don’t believe premium should automatically mean more packaging.

Where something can be removed without compromising the product, its protection or the customer experience, we believe it should be.

For the single 80g balm, the aluminium tin is the product packaging — with no unnecessary retail box around it.

FROM TARANAKI TO YOUR DOOR

WHY WE’VE CHOSEN
NZ POST

Getting a product from us to you has an environmental impact. We won’t pretend otherwise.

That’s one reason we’ve chosen NZ Post. It continues to invest in lower-emission vehicles and has committed to transition its last-mile delivery network to low-emission vehicles by 2032.

Working with a national delivery partner actively reducing emissions is a practical step in the right direction.

70% ELECTRIC

AROUND 180 CHARGING POINTS

NZ Post reported around 180 charging points across work sites and employees’ homes supporting its internal electric fleet.

WHEN THE BALM IS FINISHED

USE IT. EMPTY IT. RECYCLE IT.

80G ALUMINIUM TIN

Use every last bit. Empty and clean the tin, then follow your local council’s guidance for recycling metal packaging.

KEEP IT IN USE

Before recycling, the durable tin can be reused for small everyday essentials. When it reaches the end of its useful life, clean it and recycle it where accepted.

NOT PERFECT. ALWAYS IMPROVING.

We don’t want sustainability to become another marketing label.

We’d rather be clear about the choices we’re making — reducing unnecessary packaging, choosing materials with practical end-of-life options and working with partners investing in lower-emission operations.

As Taranaki Wild grows, we’ll keep reviewing how we make, pack and deliver. When there’s a genuinely better practical option, we’ll take it.
